Hypnosis is a natural state. Everyone drifts into a hypnotic state regularly although they may not be aware of this. One example of this is daydreaming. In Theraputic hypnosis the therapist uses this hypnotic state to bypass the conscious mind to access the subconscious mind enabling the client to make changes to thought and behaviour pattens that are unhelpful or damaging to the client.
Counselling is a talking therapy which allows people to discuss their problems and explore their feelings. This takes place in a safe and confidential space. In general people tend to use this space when they are seeking change in their lives or want to explore their feelings and thoughts in a deeper way.
Your counsellor will help you to talk about what’s on your mind, what’s troubling you to get to the root problem and to help identify how you think.

We don’t take insurance but if it’s a case of your work place wanting to pay for you therapy we can accommodate that. Just contact us to take care of this for you.
Attendance at therapy sessions are usually carried out on a regular basis for an agreed duration. This is dependant on the type of therapy and the individuals needs.
Yes, with the exceptions of confidentiality limitations which are discussed with you.
The cost of therapy is dependant on the type of therapy you book, duration and if you are paying as you go or paying a block at time.
it is important that you feel comfortable that your therapist has your best interests at heart. We are not a one size fits all therapy agency and we fully appreciate that not all therapies are a good fit for some. We are happy to discuss your needs and find the best solution for you.
